DMZ

 DMZ

A demilitarized zone (DMZ) is a type of network that protects an organization’s internal local-area network (LAN) from untrusted traffic. As a result, a DMZ makes it more difficult for a hacker to gain direct access to an organization’s data and internal servers via the internet.
